Millington wood walk.

Millington wood walk. - Photographic Walks in North Yorkshire
Walk the paths of this delightful wood, especially in spring when it is carpeted with wild garlic (ramsons). Its about half a mile long. Turn left after exiting the wood and walk along the road until meeting the sign for the Minster Way. Turn right and follow the signs along to the village of Millington. Have tea and stickies at the farm in Millington and return via Woodgate to the car park. This is a short 4 mile walk, first through the wood and back, then on to beautiful views across the hillsides of the Wolds valleys.

From Pocklington, take the road signed to Millington. Pass through the village onto Woodgate and you will come to a steep hill and hairpin bend. At the bottom is Millington wood. Parking is just inside the entrance to the wood.
