Leeds Arcades

Leeds Arcades - New Photographic Walks 2017
In the centre of Leeds City are beautiful old Victorian arcades and you can walk through a large part of the city centre from one arcade to another. There is an abundance of things to photograph and the best thing of all is that photography is allowed. There are plenty of security people there but they don't prevent you from photographing. In today's climate of terrorist suspicion and paranoia, this is remarkable.

From Leeds City station walk outside and turn left down to the traffic light crossings. Cross both roads and then turn right onto Boar Lane. Walk along and turn left onto Albion Street. Walk almost to the top of the street and on your right you will see the first arcade "King Charles Arcade". From here you can walk more or less in a straight line through King Charles Arcade, Queen's Arcade, County Arcade and Victoria Gate Arcade, ending at John Lewis where you can have lunch and also play with the latest cameras.
