City Life
Big Bill Broonzy once sang "... you have to let the clouds roll by a little". I'm still learning how to achieve that.
This day, I was sitting, watching life pass on the street. I was thinking about impressions flowing over me and wondered if it was possible to capture images of the busy street that were calm and with a sense of stillness, yet would portray the motion of the people passing and city backdrops in an artistic way.
Rather than use a reductive formula such as a monochrome image of a single person as I have in other portfolios, this time I wanted to see if I could capture this ebb and flow of a daytime city street in summer.
